There is a natural law, inherent in all men and women, that we are all good people and that we help each other as human beings.    

Thank you for considering hosting a fundraiser for Combat Feathers!

Here are some steps that might be helpful in organizing your fundraiser:

  1. Get together a dedicated group of family and friends to help you with your fundraiser.

  2. Once your dedicated group is chosen and committed, choose what type of event you would like to have.  Some events to consider are dinners, sporting events, walks/runs, raffles, etc. Please make sure to keep in mind when planning your event, Combat Feathers prohibits fundraisers that are political or sexual in content. In addition, Combat Feathers understands that when there are fundraisers that will include alcohol, it is at the organizers discretion and liability.
  3. Pick a date and appropriate venue for your event. Make sure you give yourself enough time to plan and organize the event.  When picking a venue, book the venue immediately once it is decided upon.  Make a plan that outlines your fundraiser and the needs you will have.

  4. Complete the Combat Feathers Fundraising Application to obtain approval.  ALL FUNDRAISERS NEED TO BE APPROVED THROUGH COMBAT FEATHERS to obtain any swag, support from the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and use of the logo (which is soon to be a trademark).  Once your fundraiser is approved, you are good to go with your planning, marketing, etc.  Please know that we are not available to help with your fundraiser on a day to day basis, as Combat Feathers currently has no paid employees.  It is the desire of Combat Feathers to always have someone present from Combat Feathers at your fundraiser, but due to multi-bookings this may not always be possible. Combat Feathers will do its’ best to support your fundraiser.

  5. When your fundraiser is complete, please send one check payable to Combat Feathers LLC and mail it to P.O. Box 514, Somersville, CT 06072.
